Copywriting--Cracked up as it's made out to be?

Wow...it's been a long time since I've posted.

I'm here in San Francisco (really, Burlingame) at the San Francisco Airport Hyatt Regency hotel. I and about 50-60 others are here at Harlan Kilstein & Tina Lorenz' Copywriting without a Client. Not far from here is Joel Comm, who was giving us the basic scoop on Google AdSense. Tomorrow, we will have the advanced course.

It's funny. Cuz Joel Comm was talking about about mesothelioma (it's an inside joke.) Okay, it's not a joke--if you are the lawyer-advertisers who are paying for clicks on their mesothelioma ads trying to get clients for their class-action suits against companies who some people think were responsible for working conditions and other things which caused these folks to come down with this particularly unique form of lung cancer.

Anyway, we also heard Alex Mandossian speak, as well as Jim Van Wyck.

It's an interesting congregation of people who have been in Harlan & Tina's coaching program, people who have been involved with AWAI and other miscellaneous assorted folks. One fellow knows Harlan from a Dave Dobson seminar.

But what is TOTALLY cool is Harlan & Tina rented executive suite--so there's a room in between two bedrooms--living room, kitchen, dining room--there are tons of people around here, hooked up to wireless internet access through t-mobile and we are blogging (like me, here) and opening AdSense accounts.

I tried to merge my AdSense and my Adwords accounts, but I got frustrated trying to do it. I wasn't successful.

Well, I think I'll see if I can put some Adsense on here now.

I am now under the direct coaching of Harlan Kilstein and Tina Lorenz. Add that to the influence of being in both John Carlton's and Michel Fortin's how can I lose? Let me tell you something. If you've never been to an internet marketing seminar--hold onto your wallet. I am definitely not feeling as flush as I used to! But hopefully all that investment will pay off. At least I get to spend a few days up in San Francisco at the end of August...
